Meeting Topic:

This month we welcome Michael Bumstead, founder of The Institute for Self Reliant Agriculture. Michael will share with us his experiences with self-reliant agricultural projects in developing countries. He has implemented small-scale agricultural models in communities around the world. He most recently spent time in South America evaluating the potential of a new project that could use support of interested engineering volunteers.

The Institute for Self Reliant Agriculture is an international charitable organization dedicated to expanding self-relient agriculture to families around the world. The organization has met the needs of communities in Ibarra, Ecuador and Piura, Peru. They currently have invitations to implement small-scale agricultural models across Africa.
